Our historic Community Hall is a well-maintained facility, located west of Downtown in the heart of Westmount.​   The building features a large open concept, original hardwood floors, a grand stage for entertainment, a full commercial kitchen, an engaging bar/refreshment area, clean sizable washrooms, and can accommodate a wide variety of gatherings of up to 150 people. 

Our rates are:

  • Weekend: $1,600

  • Single Day: $900

  • Half Day (generally 8 am-2 pm or 2 pm-8 pm): $500

  • Children's Birthday Party: $300

(WCL Members receive a 40% discount for all above uses.  Discount requires proof of address and current membership.)

What is the damage deposit?

$500

What is the capacity?

It's 150 by fire code. The size of the room is 62.5' x 32'.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

21 days prior of event for refund of the deposit. 

 

Is parking available?

We have two parking lots available at the hall. 

What's included in the rental?

The use of the space, tables and chairs. 

Are chairs and tables available?

16 rounds (5' in diameter) and about 12 rectangular (8' x 2.5').

 

Is kitchen available?

Yes, the use of the kitchen comes with the rental. 

Services/amenities provided?

Use of facilities.

Does the hall accept alcohol as long as a person gets the liquor licence?

Yes.  

AV available?

We have no AV equipment. Renters bring in their own. No wifi either. 

Do you have to be a member to rent the hall?

No and we do not have reduced rates for members. 

 

Please note: Everyone must have Liability Insurance for their rental period.
